About Professor Mitchell
Bill Mitchell is Professor of Economics at the University of Newcastle, Australia, and one of the original developers of Modern Monetary Theory. He is the author of Macroeconomics (the leading MMT textbook) and Reclaiming the State, and writes the influential blog Bill Mitchell – Modern Monetary Theory. He is co-founder of the Centre of Full Employment and Equity (CofFEE).
